The customer wants to know if TMDS181 supports the SSC feature. This could not be found in the datasheet.

    In addition, the customer wants to know the mechanism of SIG_EN bits and HPD_AUTO_PWRDWN_DISABLE bits in the MISC CONTROL register, I am wondering if you could help describe in detail the mechanisms and principles of these two bits.

    Hi,

    HDMI does not officially support SSC. We have not recommended anyone to do the SSC to pass EMI. Instead SSC, they should use external common mode choke to pass the EMI.

    For SIG_EN and HPD_AUTO_PWRDWN_DISABLE, please refer to table 12 in the datasheet.
