DS90UB933-Q1: Can VDDPLL and VDDCML be tied together and use same1V8 power supply for the DS90ub933?

HI Team,

Can customer tie the VDDPLL and VDDCML together directly(without any ferrite bead etc.) and use same1V8 power supply for the DS90ub933? Any risk if they tied it together?

And is there any requirement on the VDD_N capacitor? Is 20uF enough'?

    Hi Ted, 

    I recommend that you follow our typical applications diagram and do not tie them together and include the ferrite bead. The FB is used to help with filtering the high frequency noise. For the capacitors, you should follow the typical applications diagram for what values to use. Usually we have a 0.01 uF cap at each pin so you can place this right next to pin in the layout and not just one bulk capacitor. You can also refer to our EVM schematic.
