USB2.0 900mA sink capability

Hi Team,

I have a question about USB bus power SDP.

What my customer wants to do is Host supports USB3.1 and Slave supports USB2.0 and Slave wants to sink 900mA from host. data is high speed.
USB3.1 SDP supports 900mA so USB3.1 has capability to source 900mA but slave supports USB2.0 and USB2.0 SDP supports up to 500mA.

in that case, slave can sink 900mA current?
if yes, USB2.0 SDP is 500mA but do we violate USB specification?

please let me know if there are good solution to achieve customer requirement.

Regards,
Kai
