DS80PCI800: surpise removal issue

Part Number: DS80PCI800
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS80PCI810

Hi Team,

We have project design with DS80PCI800 to support NVMe drive and we got reboot issue randomly.

The topology as below

The NVMe drive is design by WD and they help to check the condition and found below incompatibility issue.

Please advise, thanks.

The re-driver may not be fully compatible with the PCIe link training disable command.

It seen to be stable when we did not use the PCIe link training disable command before hot unplugging the drive.

The system would sometimes reboot when the PCIe link training disable command was used before hot unplug the drive.

Attached is the scope shot of the PCIe signal when link training disable command is issued.
