Hi Team,

Please advice me on my question bellow:

Question: Does DS125MB203 support SAS3 (12Gbps)?

The data sheet says this device supports SAS2/SATA3 (6Gbps).

In contrast, this device supports up to 12.5Gbps data rate signal.

So, I want to know if it supports SAS3.

Good to hear from you.

Applications such as SAS3 or KR applications, require RX-TX training and auto-negotiation. For these to occur, device needs to provide transparency and exhibit like an analog buffer versus NRZ type of device. For SAS3 applications, we recommend the following devices(in order of linearity): DS160PR410, DS125BR820, DS125BR111, DS125BR800A, SN65LVCP1414, and SN65LVCP114.
