TCA9544A: About unused for INTx

Hello E2E,

For INTx pins that are not used, the datasheet says "If unused, interrupt input (s) must be connected to VCC."
When connected to VCC, INTx is always High and I think interrupts will continue to occur.
Is this the correct information?

Hi ACGUY,

The main INT will assert low if any (just one) of the INTx pins is driven low. If you tie ALL INTx pins HIGH, then the main INT will never assert low.

Section 1 says "Four Active-Low Interrupt Inputs".

The bar over the INTx pin names indicates active-low signals.

The pin descriptions in section 5 say "Active-low interrupt input".

Footnote (1) in table 2 is misleading because it describes the bits in the control register that have the same names as the pins, but the opposite polarity.
