Hi team,

My customer is considering to transmit the data more than 15m with FPD Link III.

Is it possible to use DS90UB953 and 954 pair in below configuration to extend the cable length more than 15m?

CMOS sensor --> 953 --> Coax cable --> 954 --> 953 --> Coax cable --> 954 --> CPU

Or, if there are any repeater device to extend the maximum cable length more than 15m, could you tell me the solution?

Hello Saito,

This is a valid use case. Yes, you can use this design as a repeater to extend the range.

Another option is to use a bitter quality cable (Less Loss) to reach more distance, for example the Leoni-Dacar 037-3. Using this kind of a cable you can reach 25 or 30 meters.
