DS90C189-Q1: Selection of RGB lines mapping to generate the Dual LVDS signals

Hi,

We want to develop one common control card with DS90C189-Q1 Dual LVDS transceiver IC. This control card should be common to drive the various LCD panels as below. Which LCD lines mapping should be used for my application, and how to select this mapping either MSB on CH3 or LSB on CH3.

What is the meaning of MSB on CH3 and LSB on CH3.

Please let me know.

2. Litemax make 24 Inch Panel (MU_DLF_DLH2425_V1)

3. Winstar make 7 Inch Panel (WF70A8SYAHLNG0)

2. Litemax make 24 Inch Panel (MU_DLF_DLH2425_V1) = SIDO, MSB on CH3

3. Winstar make 7 Inch Panel (WF70A8SYAHLNG0) = SISO, Panel datasheet doesn’t given info on expected color mapping scheme

4. Orient make 7 inch panel (AFY1024600A0) = SISO, MSB on CH3

Please explain how it is MAB on CH3.

Also what is CH3 meaning here.

Hello Rajeswari,

Please see figures 8-1 and 8-2 in the datasheet along with table 8-5 and 8-6 which show the parallel to LVDS bit mapping options. The datasheets for each of these panels also show corresponding diagrams which can be compared.
