DP83867E: Internal Routing

Hello,

We are working on an application utilizing DP83867. Does this device enable you to route the 4 pairs in any order and auto correct them internally? This would be a nice feature to have for this device as it would offer more flexibility in the choice of the connector. I noticed some other solutions support this but could not find this in the DP83867 datasheet and wanted to make sure that I am not missing this. Appreciate it!

    Hi Garret,

    The 4 pairs cannot be routed in any order. Mirror mode does allow swapping of Pair A < -> Pair D and swapping of Pair B < - > Pair C. Please review section 8.4.6.6 of the datasheet for more information.
