Hi,

We are planning to use the DP83825I part for our new design. As a part of the early analog simulations we require the spice model of the mentioned part. So is there any way by which we can get the spice model of the part for the analog simulation.

The IBIS model and the PSpice for TI design and other simulation tools are available under the Design and Development tab of the product folder. Please let me know if you have trouble locating these tools.

I was not able to locate the spice model for the mentioned part(DP83825I) under the Design tools & simulation section. Can you please help me to locate the same.

Hi Vivek,

If you simulation software is compatible with IBIS models you may download the IBIS model in the product folder.

Otherwise you may consider using our tool TINA-TI to simulate this device.

Hi Nikhil,

I have tried simulation with the TINA-TI software. But I was not able to find any option for adding the IBIS model in it. Please guide me how to add IBIS model in TINA.

Hi Nikhil,

At least can you update me about which type of end driver circuit is used for ethernet PHY ICs from TI(Like totem pole, Open drain etc).

Hi Vivek,

Thank you for your patience. Unfortunately we do not have a spice model for this device, only an IBIS model. This IBIS model is not compatible with TINA-TI. This device uses a voltage mode line driver. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
