in our system we are using DS90UH949 + DS90UH940. Our setup are HDMI input --> DS90UH949 --> DS90UH940 --> graphic processor
Some quick question would like to clarify as below:
1. after power on we had already done the procedure for DS90UH949 --> DS90UH940 HDCP authentication, and the status now are DS90UH949 --> DS90UH940 HDCP authenticated. if the HDMI input is removed and plug in again does DS90UH949 --> DS90UH940 need to re-do the HDCP authentication procedure (Enable HDCP -> Check for KSV Ready -> Check KSV., ...)
2. We saw that If DS90UH949 --> DS90UH940 HDCP is at authenticated status, if at this time we set DS90UH949 HDCP_CTL register HDCP_EN bit 0xC3[0] = 1 try to restart the authentication, the KSV Ready bit 0xC4[1] will not go high. Looks like it does not re-start the authentication.
Why KSV ready will not goes high ?
May I know what is the correct way to restart the authentication in this case ?
