DS90LV001: LVPECL buffer

Hi team,

My customer is looking for LVPECL buffer IC. The candidate is DS90LV001, but the customer thinks that the VIL and VIH of DS90LV001 doesn’t fit to LVPECL requirement. Can the DS90LV001 be used as LVPECL buffer?

If the DS90LV001 cannot be used for LVPECL buffer, could you tell me other recommended device?

Hi Yamaguchi-san,

Although the DS90LV001 inputs can accept LVPCL levels, the outputs are LVDS.

For an LVPECL buffer they can use SN65LVP17.
