DP83TC811S-Q1: sleep mode question

Part Number: DP83TC811S-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DP83TC811

Hi Team,

May I ask the following questions?

1: Regarding entering deep sleep, is it only necessary to supply 3.3v to VDDA and pin11? And PIN22 VDDIO can not supply 1.8v. Because we need deep sleep uA-level power consumption.
At the same time, there is an Ethernet remote wake-up function requirement. Basically, the power is off, only sbc has a 3.5V output. Need to confirm whether 1.8v can not be supplied during deep sleep.
2: If DP83TC811S-Q1 does not support deep sleep, only 3.3v power supply, please recommend a deep sleep chip with remote wake-up function. Need to realize the vehicle Ethernet function, the interface is RMII or RGMII.
3: DP83TC811S-Q1 is remotely awakened in deep sleep, which one of the INH signal and INT signal has changed, and from what level and why?
4: What is the power domain of the INH signal?

  • Hi Amelie,

    1. The DP83TC811 does not support disabling the VDDA or VDDIO supplies in Sleep mode.
    2. I've reached out via email to provide information regarding remote wake-up in automotive Ethernet.
    3. In the DP83TC811 Sleep mode, the INH signal is de-asserted low when the device exits Sleep mode.
    4. The INH pin is powered through the VDDIO domain.

    Regards,
    Justin
