Hi team,
Could you teach me the relation of back channel line rate and UI_BC?
100MHz of back channel rate means 50Mbps of back channel rate in synchronous mode?
So, when the BC rate is 50Mbps, UI_BC is 1/100MHz = 10ns, am I right?

Saito

Hi Saito,
Yes, your calculation is correct. 50Mbps back channel rate means 25MHz ref. clock in syn. mode.

Steven
Hi Steven-san
Thanks. I'm still not clear the relation between 50Mbps and 100MHz.
Could you please explain to me why BC_UI can be calculated by 1/100MHz when BC rate is 50Mbps?
Regards,
Saito
Saito,
Here it has description issue.
For the back rate 50Mbps, the correct description is 50MHz and the back channel line rate is 100Mbps, so the UI-BC is 1/100MHz = 10ns.
but anyway, the clock freq. is ~ half of data line rate.
regards,
Steven
Hi Steven-san,
Now, I understand! Thank you for your clear explanation.
