SN65LBC175: Need Details of Minimum Input Résistance value

Part Number: SN65LBC175

Hello,

Can you please provide the details of minimum Input resistance value of the part SN65LBC175? I can't find the value in datasheet. I need to understad the loading effect on before section.

Thank You

Regards,

Bhargav Pendurthi

  • Bhargav,

This is an older part, and there are no members of our current team that were there for the development and release of this part (it is 27 years old!). We will look more into your question about minimum resistance, but in the short-term, I hope I can help with your needs for your application.

If you are looking for input current loading on each node (including worst-case/maximum values), then this information should be helpful:

For a voltage-current characteristic of the input nodes of the device (i.e. conductance characteristic or inverse resistance) you can use this plot:

And for a reference equivalent schematic of the input pins, including relevant impedances, this should be helpful:

Please let me know if this information helps you meet your needs.

    Best,

    Danny

  • Bhargav,

I have spoken further with other team members and confirmed that the bus input current should serve your needs for determining bus loading. The maximum values would serve as the worst-case (i.e. minimum resistance).

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Best,

    Danny

  • Hi Danny,

Thank you for the information. Can you please let me know whether the part is in "ACTIVE" state and also please let me know the maturity level of part?

Is it recommended part for new desings? please suggest.

    Thank You

  • Bhargav,

My apologies for the delay in responding, as I was away visiting family last Friday and this weekend.

Great question. The part is still ACTIVE. All PNs for this part are still orderable on TI.com, and no NRND/EOL process has been initiated for this part.

    Best,

    Danny
