Hi team

Do we have such a USB to TTL converter?

X86 platform (Win10) ---> [USB to TTL converter] ---> STM32F429 3.3V TTL port

Requirements:

Support X86 Win10 driver
1MByte data rate

It seems that TUSB3410 is a choice but the serial port data modes show that this device only supports 232, 485, and IrDA.

In addition, If this function needs two ICs, what are the recommended devices?

Hi Stone,

Unfortunately we do not have a RS232 to TTL converter IC. Also TUSB3410 has a maximum baud rate of 921.6 kbps.

Could TUSB3410 support X86 Win10 driver?

From my understanding, In order to achieve this function, there should be 2 chips: USB to rs232 + 232 to TTL, right?

TUSB3410 does have a windows driver for X86 Win10.

You are correct a secondary 232 to TTL converter is necessary.

Hi Malik

The customer used FT232H and CP2102 in their project as the USB to UART function, Could you please help check if my understanding is correct?

Both two devices can't achieve USB to TTL directly, an external TTL converter is needed.
TUSB3410 could be a replacement for CP2102.

In addition, do we have devices to replace FT232H? FT232H is a USB to high-speed UART device.

hi Stone,

You are correct neither device can reach standard TTL voltage signaling. TUSB3410 can be a replacement for CP2102 but we do not have a replacement for FT232H.
