Hello Dear FPD Team,

I was wondering, is it possible to read the current value of the temperature sensor via I2C on the DS90UB935-Q1?

I know, that it is posible to set a threshhold and to trigger and alarm bit, when outside of temperature range.

But is it possible to simply get the value of the temperature sensor? And if so, which register shall be used?

Hello Catarina,

The 935 temp sensor value is automatically loaded into the deserializer register SENSOR_STS_2 through the forward channel during operation. See register 0x53 in the DS90UB936-Q1 for example.
