SN65DP159: Datasheet questions

Hi Team,

Would you advise my customer's I2C questions on SN65DP159 datasheet below?

  1. It seems that the data hold time is not specified in the data sheet at the I2C timing of SN65DP159.In the I2C spec sheet, it is described as THD; DAT.This value is specified as Min0 in the I2C specifications, so if it is not specified in the data sheet, I think that 0 is fine, but when I tried it on our development board, the hold time was 50ns. Then there is OK / NG, and when you increase it to about 100ns, the symptom that it becomes OK appears. I would like to know if the specifications as a device are specified.

  2. It is also SN65DP159, but there is a description in the I2C specifications that it removes pulses of 50ns or less (TSP).
    Is it okay that this also applies (is installed) to the SN65DP159 without any problems?

    The DP159 I2C interface conforms to the 2-wire serial interface defined by the I 2C Bus Specification, Version 2.1 (January 2000), so we did not list the I2C timing information in the DP159 datasheet, but rather refer the customers to the I2C specification. 

    Since the DP159 conforms to the I2C specification, I don't see an issue with the TSP timing.
