can TUSB8042A support "USB detect function" LED ?

Hi,

TUSB8042A does not have a dedicated GPIO for this LED function. A discrete solution is needed based on the state of USB_VBUS (upstream USB connection).

we prefer USB signal detect not base on USB_VBUS

Hi,

Are you trying to have LED for upstream or downstream connection? Why can USB_VBUS not be used?

Hi Dimitry,

We do not have a LED function that report the status of each downstream port. For the upstream port that are status outputs that can be enabled (SS_UP, HS_UP, SS_SUSPEND, HS_SUSPEND) and used to drive LEDs. It is described in the datasheet.
