Hi Team,

Is it possible to set the Deser in a mode where :

1) The Serializer and sensor are accessible over back-channel I2C

AND

2) The deser ignores the video input from the FPD link and generate Test Pattern output.

Can you please provide some reference/suggestion, how to configure the deser to operate this way?

Hello,

You should be able to have link and PatGen enabled in the deserializer.

Prior to enabling the Pattern Generator, the following should be done:

1. Disable video forwarding in FWD_CTL1 register

2. Configure CSI-2 Transmitter operating speed using the CSI_PLL_CTL register.

3. Enable the CSI-2 Transmitter for port 0 using the CSI_CTL register
