DS90UB962-Q1: Port Forwarding with Mixed Frame Rates

Part Number: DS90UB962-Q1

Hi Team,

I have a customer system that has cameras with mixed frame (three cameras with 2 Mpix sensors at 30 fps, and one camera with a 1 Mpix at 60 fps)

I was wondering if there is an issue when the UB962 would be sending MIPI messages to the SOC. The examples show four cameras with four virtual ports messages being sent out sequentially…(Cam0, Cam1…) but of camera 3 is running 60 fps, it would have to send MIPI packets more often.

If Camera3 were running at 60 fps, would the packets look like  CAM0, CAM3, CAM1, CAM2, CAM3, CAM0, CAM1, CAM3, CAM2…. and would the deserializer automatically handle how often CAM3 messages are interspersed into the other camera messages coming less frequently?

Thanks for the help!

David
