How long does it take time from setting register mode to reflecting status?

For instance, it is from setting the duplex mode to reflecting the duplex status.

Hi Kuramochi,

I do not have the exact timing but I would expext the status to immediately change once register write has been done. Is there a reason you need to understand this? Are you not seeing the expected register values upon write?

Hi Cecilia-san,

I have an additional question.

If the device has already linked-up, is setting register mode reflected status in real-time?

Or does reflecting status wait until finishing communication once?

Hi Kuramochi,

You should see the link up again in real time. However with the link status register you will need to read the register twice as it is a latch low. Then you should see the updated link status.
