Hi Team,

Does reverse current protection work when PP_HV1 and PP_HV2 are connected?

"Safe Configuration" is set with the resistor of ADCIN1, and I2C is not used.

Hi Kenji,

Yes, the reverse current protection comes from back to back FETs and will work when PP_HV1 and PP_HV2 are connected. Please check out the TPS65987DDH Power Path Performance and Protection for more description and a good diagram of the situation you are describing. Section 4 describes Reverse Current Protection.
