Hi there,

My customer is evaluating TUSB1002A and HD3SS3220 for USB3.2 Gen2 use.

He is inquiring if these 2 devices have passed USB3.2 Gen2 Certification Test.

If so, could you please provide relative document or material?

If not, can these devices support USB3.2 Gen2 interface without any problem?

Hi Zeming,

We do not have test report with these two devices together. SI performance of the customer system will depend on the quality of the layout and the overall trace length. Using these two device I expect USB 3.2 Gen 2 x1 operation to be successful. You should also consider TUSB1146 (with DP alternate mode capabilities) or TUSB1042 for a more integrated solution.

Note: x1 operation is supported by these devices however USB 3.2 Gen 2 x2 operation is not supported.

Hi Zeming,

We have had customer pass USB 3.2 Gen 2 x1 compliance with TUSB1002A (Type-A port).
