AM26LV32E: Fail-Safe behavior of terminated

Part Number: AM26LV32E

Hello team,

I have a customer who use AM26LV32E. They use it as RS422 receiver and they mounted 221ohms as termination and choke coil in the input differential line, and Supply Power is 3.3V.
When the cable between the driver and receiver is disconnected, the customer expects the AM26LV32E output to go High as the following table. However, in reality, the output can be high or low and unstable. Replacing it with another AM26LV32E IC may not improve the situation.

Would you please advise me if there is any problem? The circuit can be shared on offline.

Your advice would be so appreciated.

Best Regards,
Akihisa Tamazaki
