Hi Team,

My customer used the DS90UB949 connect to the DS90UB926 for ADAS application, the signals input via the HDMI cable to UB949, the UB926 used RGB565 output to AR HUD(720p).

They used the external color test pattern and saw the chromatic distortion on HUD output, but they used the ALP GUI test pattern and saw the HUD output is normal.

How to fix the chromatic distortion issue? is it the EDID information not match on UB949?

    Here some points are:

    1. if the internal default EDID for 949 is 720P@RGB888, if you use different video format, you need change the EDID or the video source should be set the correct video format output

    2. for 926, the output from ALP is RGB666 or RGB888, you can link it with panel

    3. for this distortion you need make the output match for correct display.
