Hi Sir,

A customer want to confirm the Single-ended input impedance of LMH0307.

it looks like 50ohm on Single-ended input from EVM, Can this device input 75ohm signal?

BTW, can this device output two channels Single-ended on ports of SDO0/SDO0 or SDO1/SDO1?

If this device can not input 75ohm Single-ended, can you provide a recommended devices on application.

Application:

input 75ohm Single-ended signal and output Differential signal two channels 100ohm.

Hi Frank,

1). Input to the LMH0307 device is 100-ohm differential input or 50-ohm single ended. Device does not accept 75-ohm single ended input.

2). LMH0307 can output two 75-ohm single ended signals.

3). Please take a look LMH0324 device( https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lmh0324.pdf?ts=1603901474169&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fsitesearch%252Fdocs%252Funiversalsearch.tsp%253FsearchTerm%253DLMH0324). This device has 75-oh input and two 100-ohm differential outputs.

For Q2, can I use one channel differential output SDI interface as two channels of 75 ohm coaxial output?

that is LMH0307 can be used as four channels 75 ohm coaxial output?

Hi Frank,

Yes you can. Please note one channel differential output one side is positive while the other side opposite(negative). Therefor you would have opposite polarity.

Yes LMH0307 has 4-75-ohm outputs. Two of these are positive while the other two are negative polarity.
