1、CAN a display Serdes and a camera Serdes work as a couple?

For example,can I use a DS90UB953(MIPI CSI input ) and a Ds90ub940(MIPI CSI output) to achieve the conversion : MIPI CSI-2 --> FPD LINK III---> MIPI CSI-2 ?

What is the Essential differences between in Camera Serdes and Dispaly Serdes?

2、What is the essential differences betweenin FPD LINK and LVDS about the input of DS90UB927 & 947?

as shown in the picture below?

Hi,

No, the camera and the display Serdes cannot be mixed.

LVDS is referring to the input interface of the 927/947 and FPD-Link is referring to the output interface which then connects to a deserializer.

From the picture,you can see the input of 927 is "FPD LINK LVDS", the input of 947 is "LVDS".

The FPD-Link text for 927 is misplaced in the input column. It should have been just LVDS.
