Hello team,

I found this typo on figure6-7 is still on the datasheet. Do you plan to revise it?

Also, can GPIO function be used without external EEPROM?

Do I need to develop 8052 microcontroller for simple USB-GPIO application?

Hi Itoh,

I will look into these datasheets. The application FW for tUSB3410 need to be loaded from either a EEPROM or PC (via USB driver). Could you give me more details on this application so that I can better answer your question? What are you trying to achieve with each GPIO?

Hi Malik-san,

I just want to reset a specific board from PC via USB driver. It looks like TUSB3410 meets the requirement without external EEPROM. Please look into the D/S and confirm about the FS/HS.

Hi Itoh,

I can confirm that TUSB3410 operates at FS. VCP driver can be used with TUSB3410 without EEPROM but not sure default firmware will give access to control GPIOs. Some software work will need to be done by the customer.
