TPS65988: About USB Data Pins of TPS65988

Dear Sir/Madam;

I have a question regarding to the USB data pins on TPS65988. It seems that these pins are used for activating BC 1.2 for non-PD compliant devices. Can we leave these pins unconnected, if don't  support BC 1.2 protocol?
