Hello,
My customer is very interested in TCAN4550 for an industrial application and have a question.
Does TCAN4550 have any restriction or something they have to take care compared to using an internal CAN-FD peripheral inside MCU?
Regards,
Oba

Oba,
The TCAN4550 and TCAN4550-Q1 device contains a controller and transceiver in one package. The controller is defined by the Bosch MCAN CAN FD definition, which many CAN-FD peripherals inside MCUs follow as well. All of the CAN FD configuration is done through SPI on the TCAN4550 from the MCU. For more details, look into the TCAN4550-Q1 Software User's Guide for details on how to configure the device and use it to facilitate CAN communication.
