TUSB501: Is swapping the plus and minus nets allowable on this device?

Part Number: TUSB501

As shown in the above schematic, is it allowable to swap the plus and minus inputs on the IC. Understanding that I swapped them at both the input and output side of the chip. Is this okay to do to make PCB routing easier, or is there something internal to the chip that is forcing the positive to be positive and the negative, negative?
