Dear TI Team

I would like to ask you about the Two supply configuration (shown below) described in the data sheet.

1. 1. Is there data on power consumption (current consumption) for each power supply pin (VDDIO, VDDA1P1, VDDA2P5)?
(I have received a request because it is necessary for our customers to select the device that will generate the power to supply to each pin.)

2. Should I use an LDO to power each power pin (VDDIO, VDDA1P1, VDDA2P5)? (Or is it okay to supply it with DCDC?)
If power is supplied by DCDC, our customers are concerned that ripple will cause communication quality problems.

    Hi Y.Ottey,

    I've included the maximum current consumption of each power supply below. The values are the approximate maximum of each supply, the actual current will be lower depending on the operational mode of the PHY.

    VDD1P1 => 220mA

    VDDA1P8 => 60mA

    VDD2P5 => 100mA

    VDDIO (3V3) => 80mA

    We would recommend using an LDO to power each pin for a stable power supply for the reason you described.
