Hi all,

I would like to know the recommended operating JUNCTION temperature. Does this device keeps the spec in Electrical Characteristics in the recommended ambient temperature (<105degC) even if the device junction temperature rises to very close to 150degC by self heat?

Hello Ryo,

there is no recommended operating junction temperature. We specify the max allowed junction temperature only.

The device is specified to reach maximum junction temperature = 150C at the max ambient temperature = 105C.

If you want to know how to calculate this and what is the relation between ambient temp and junction temp, please refer to this AppNote.

Ok. We will use this device under conditions of Ta<105degC and Tj<150degC.
