Hi
According to your answer, I have two new questions.
If the downstream interfaces of the chip are all connected to high-speed devices (all meeting 5Gbps), and they are used simultaneously, what is their maximum average speed?
Does your company have a USB HUB chip with a upstream rate of 10Gbps and a downstream rate of 5Gbps? Could you please help to recommend it?
Hi,
TI only have USB Hubs that can operate at USB 3.1 Gen 1 x1 (5 Gbps). No 10 Gbps operation on upstream port.
Maximum throughput will be limited due to packet overheard and multiple devices operating simultaneously. Typical USB 3.0 SSD based mass storage devices max out at around 350 MB/s (single device), we don't see any impact in that throughput from the hub.
We need to connect four USB devices, each way is 250MB/S(a total of 1GB/S). Is TUSB8044A supported
