DS90UB964-Q1: solution check about 964's input and output

This is not how it's designed to work. If you have 4 cameras the 964 can aggregate those cameras out on to a single CSI-2 port, but you will need to make sure you are not exceeding the bandwidth of the port so that you do not have buffer overflow errors. What are the resolutions of the camera?

The resolution is as below.  In addition, 960 and 964 have the same data rate per lane. Why 964 is used for 1M pixel while 960 is used for 2M pixel?

The customer will use below cameras in their surround view system(4*camera), under this condition, 964 is enough, right?

The 960 is compatible With DS90UB953-Q1, DS90UB935- Q1, DS90UB933-Q1, DS90UB913A-Q1. The 960 is compatible With DS90UB913AQ/913Q/933Q which is why the 1Mpixel is used for the 964. What SER are they using?

The serializer they use now is 933. 964 can't support MIPI data format, so it can't be paired with 935/953, right?

Hi Sherry, 

To be more accurate, the 964 supports the following operating modes when pairing with the SER: RAW10, RAW12 LF, & RAW12 HF. It does support outputting MIPI CSI-2 data.
