we are trying to get to work a 24bit LVDS display on a DSI host using 18bit packed transfer. The result of this a darker screen than using 24bit DSI transfer. To see which component will cause this problem can you tell us how the conversion from 18bit to 24bit is done? Are the missing bits filled with 0 or are the 18bit linearized to 24bit (e.g. a value of 64 is than 256)?
