DP83822I: AM65xx_MII_DP83822I require serial resistors?

Part Number: DP83822I

Hello,

we have connect the PHY-MAC with the AM65xx-MAC directly without discrete serial resistors.
It is our first prototype and we dont have any knowledgebase in MAC-using.
But i have got a schematic-review from Texas-Instruments and they wrote:

"RGMII signal integrity requires series resistors close to the TX end of all 12 nets."

The old Version was planed with RGMII-Interface, but the new will work with MII.

My question, because i dont found any additional informations about discrete-MAC-serial-resistors,
can give me anybody more information about that?
The problem is, if we require these resistors, the routing of the MAC-interface-signals is more
difficult.
