Hi,

May I know what is the purpose of this event and how it can be used?

    Hi Baghiya,

    This event will configure the GPIO to output and will set it high. This can be used for example in a system where you may need to let a Host/EC know when the PD controller is powered on via a GPIO pin. 

    It will simply pull the GPIO high regardless of how the PD controller is operating as long as it stays powered on.
