HI Team,

Hello Ted,
You need to set reg 0x58 to 0x5E, and reg 0x6D[1:0] to 00, for the specific Port.
Customer want to use the Des clock and send back to the Serializer and then send to the image sensor through the CLK_OUT, could you pls explain more how to configure the register to realize the functions?
Thanks
Hi Ted,
if you configure the DES registers as I told you, the CLK will be sent through the back channel to the SER. The SER will output the CLK by default to the sensor. There is no other settings required.
Which SER are you using?
what is the DES REFCLK and what is the Imager required CLK?
HI Hamzeh,
Customer current configure 0x58-0x5e and 0x6d register as below, however there are still no CLK_OUT at 935.
58, 59, 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 6d
9e, 00, 00, 30, 00, 00, 00, 7c
SER is 935, and the DES REFCLK is 25MHz, and imager required CLK at camera side is 25MHz.
Could you pls kindly check above setting and any other register they have to configured?
Thanks
Hello Ted,
as I said, customer need to set reg 0x58=0x5E, and reg 0x6D[1:0] = 00, for the specific Port. means if the SER is connected to Port0, DES reg 0x4C=0x01. If SER is connected to Port1, DES reg 0x4c=0x12.
Make sure also the SER MODE pin is connected correctly as per the d/s MODE pin table.
