Hi,

Could you please explain the input and output functionality of INT/ PWDN_N pin?

what's the value of internal weak pull up resistor? Is it present if pin is configured either input or output?

what's the drive strength of this signal when configured as an output?

Also, IBIS model for this pin does not let to select it as an input pin.

Hello Shalaka,

You may have a look at functioanlity of the pin explained in Pin Functions table of the datasheet.

Integrated pull-up is active during its INT functionality and is of value 9K (typ), 6.75K(min) and 11.25K (max) [part to part variation].

When it will drive low as an output, it will drive it with ~50ohms to ground.

For loading check as input, you may hack the model for this pin to INPUT.

Hi Vikram

I am using IBIS model in Mentor Graphic's HyperLynx tool, and for some reason it doesn't give me an option to select input functionality.

Also, I am more interested in PWDN_N functionality of the pin.

I am trying to have the flexibility to use this pin as either input or output. I am planning to check how the external pull-up will affect either of them.

Hello Shalaka,

You may try editing the text file of model and change the model to "input" against the pin.
