PCA9538: Question of RESET PIN

Hi team,

Customer has a question about RESET PIN connect to VCC through a pullup resistor.

Their RESET PIN  connect to VCC through a pullup resistor.

When power on, do they need to add a capacitor on the pull-up resistor to delay for the power sequence?

    Jimmy,

    This is not a requirement. Adding a capacitor can help with filtering any high-frequency noise, but slowing the edge down for power-up is not required for the device to power up correctly. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
