One of my customers is considering using TCA9535 for their next products.

They have a question about the device as the follow. Could you give me your reply?

Q. When can I2C communication be started after TCA9535 powered up?

In other words, how long does the device need for I2C communication start after it is powered up?

Kazuya,

I'd recommend using the t_buf parameter, defined as I2C bus free time between stop and start.

For standard mode, minimum t_buf = 4.7 μs

For fast mode, minimum t_buf = 1.3 μs
