Does LVDS signalling for DS90UB948 assume termination on both sides of transmittion line?
Hi Sergey,
Are you asking for the OLDI output? The LVDS signal for the UB948 should be terminated at the receiver side. You do not need both sides.

Hi Sergey,
The description for the 948 is still valid. It depends on your application whether there is a RX or not. If there is no RX, you might want to terminate on the board close to the connector to measure the LVDS signal. However, you can't have both sides. If you have both side, then it is parallel 100Ω||100Ω = 50Ω. The description mentioned about the end of the transmission line which mean the end application needs RX. So, you only need the 100Ω termination at the receiver side.
I also described the confusion on the resistors placed next to the device here. Please check them out.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.
