DP83620: IBIS model selection

Hi,

In the DP83620 IBIS model, there are four models available

g24q370 mode: SS = VSS, VDD = 3.3
g24q371 mode: SS = VDD, VDD = 3.3
g24q372 mode: SS = VSS, VDD = 2.5
g24q373 mode: SS = VDD, VDD = 2.5

Since we are using 3.3V, the first two options will satisfy our requirement.

g24q370 mode: SS = VSS, VDD = 3.3
g24q371 mode: SS = VDD, VDD = 3.3

In our design, 100Mbps MII interface is used. How to select among these two models for our design?

Hi Viswa,

Both models will be ok for your design. They are using different test conditions, setting SS = VSS or SS = VDD. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Nikhil,

Please provide your response for the below queries

1)What does SS means?

2)As per datasheet, the MAC interface of Ethernet PHY contains integrated 50ohm resistor. Whether the integrated 50ohm is modelled in the IBIS model?
