TXB0108PWR

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC2T45, SN74AHC125

I am using the IC  TXB0108PWR for translating a square pulse of 5VP-P ,working with 1MHZ to 5MHZ.But I am only getting output correctly (5V to 3.3V conversion without noise ) till 800KhZ.I am attaching the schematics part ,Kindly help on the   same.

  • This problem is typically caused by the capacitive load being too high. The TXB does not work with loads higher than 70 pF; see sections 8.3.3 and 8.3.5 of the datasheet.

For unidirectional signals, direction-controlled level shifters like the SN74LVC2T45 would be more robust and flexible. For shifting to a lower voltage, you could also use a buffer with overvoltage-tolerant inputs like the SN74AHC125.
