DP83620: IBIS model warnings and cautions

Hi,

The IBIS model of DP83620 is producing warnings and cautions when checked with Hyperlynx Visual IBIS editor using 'Check syntax(Committee parser)'. I have attached the pdf containing the warnings and cautions here.

Hi Viswa,

Can you describe what error you are seeing in your simulation? This model is quite old and been verified in previous applications, the compiler warnings are not something we have current plans to change.

Hi Justin,

Still, we didn't found any specific error in the simulation. We checked the syntax and found some warnings and cautions. We thought these warnings/cautions may alter the actual result of the simulation. Can you describe what impact these warnings/cautions will have on simulation?

Hi Viswa,

The osc25x2 model is related to the XI 25MHz reference clock to the PHY, the cautions may relate to the expected initialized state of the clock, to GND rather than VDDIO before starting simulation.
