DS90UB960-Q1: I2S Mapping and CSI-2 Mode Virtual Channel Mapping question

Hi Team,

I have some questions about UB960-Q1. Our application is using 953*2 + 960.

1. I2S Mapping

I see the SNLA314A which could use GPIO pin as I2S when using 953+954. Could we use the same method in UB960-Q1. We used two 953 and use 960 GPIO0-5.

2. CSI-2 Mode Virtual Channel Mapping question

Could we use below scenario by software register setting because we only use 2 camera?

Hi Roy,

1. yes, you can follow that app note for 953 + 960, but you keep in mind we have a max of 4 GPIO's in table 11 spec'ed.

Hi Sally,

For question.1, I see that there is 8 GPIOs could be used. Why you said only four GPIOs could be used?

And we would like to transmit 2*DMIC signal from 953*2. We only need transmit 2*Data and 2*Clk, so four GPIO could also meet our requirements.

Hi Roy,

Let me clarify my statement "Up to four GPIOs are supported in the forward direction on each FPD-Link III Receive port". So you can send up to 4 per SER device.
