TPIC8101: SPI Register Default Values

Hello,

What are the default values of the TPIC8101's SPI registers right after a device start-up? Since I cannot find them in the data sheet, are the values unknown?

Could you point out where it is in the data sheet? I'm afraid I can find it nowhere.

Hello Yokota-San,

If you look at the programming section in the datasheet on the left column under response there are default bits. Please see this attachment here.

Arjun-san,

Do you mean this one? Although I marked the previous post with "This resolved my issue," I later noticed something wrong with it. The data sheet says on page 12 that in the default SPI mode, the SDO directly equals to the SDI (echo function). I guess the values under "Responses (t)" just echo the SDI code and are not the default values. My conclusion is, No default values are written in the data sheet. Please take a look, again.
