TUSB522P: How much loss can TUSB522P support (before and after chip)

Hi E2E,

In the TUSB522P datasheet, I cannot find the information about the channel loss.

Due to this is an urgent case and there is no time to do the simulation, could you please provide "How much loss can TUSB522P support before and after it" to me.

I need to quickly evaluate the channel loss before and after TUSB522P.

    Hi Bryan,

    You should refer to Table 1. Control Pin Settings (Typical Values) in the datasheet to understand the EQ (affects pre-channel) and DE (affects post-channel) settings of TUSB522P. TUS522P can support up to 9 dB of loss in the pre-channel (before the chip) and up to 6.2 dB of loss in the post channel (after the chip).
